Pickup in Nairobi, drive south, first game drive at sunset.

Morning

Pickup from your Nairobi accommodation around 8 AM. Drive south through Athi-Kapiti plains, stopping for coffee.

Afternoon

Arrive Amboseli around 1 PM. Lunch and rest at the lodge.

Evening

Late afternoon game drive. Dinner at lodge.

July – October is the peak.

Lodges fill up fast in peak season, so book three to four months ahead. Long rains in April and May mean cheaper rates but harder game viewing.
